When was the work done?
We first had C&N Carpentry in to do work about 2 years ago and since then we've had them back 3 or 4 times to do more work. They're excellent.

What was involved?
All types of carpentry work. They also did roofing and they built on a small extension at the back. Anything that we ever need, they do. I would certainly recommend them - they are very, very nice fellows. As we speak, we actually have them doing another job - only started today in another house. That again would be carpentry, roofing, renewing fascia boards, down pipes - they turn their hand to anything.

How did you choose C&N Carpentry?
We heard about them by word of mouth - people who used them and found them very nice. I was introduced to them and I saw their work and I had no hesitation in having them.

Did Colin introduce new ideas?
They were actually very good at coming up with suggestions. I got them to do paneling in a bathroom and while I had an idea, they were certainly able take the idea and transform it into something that was far better than I had envisaged.

How did the project run?
Perfect.

What was the biggest benefit to you of using C&N Carpentry?
They come when they say they'll come. Both brothers are very easy to speak with and they have good ideas. They use dust sheets and literally they clean up everything. They're just incredibly neat. They will measure and they will tell you exactly what it'll cost and that's what it costs. The price is the price.

What's your favourite part now?
The bathroom which is fantastic. It's all panelled with mirrors inserted. It looks absolutely wonderful.

Would you recommend C&N Carpentry to others?
Yes, highly. I'd have no problem vouching for them.

Any tips for other people?
Work with your carpenter - make sure that you both know where you're at. Listen to their suggestions, they're the experts but make sure that you're satisfied with their general ideas.
